Our events—and the level of service we provide

Our events—and the level of service we provide—-define our reputation. Our staff is deeply committed to the success of our events: we are the first to arrive and last to leave. Accountability, however, is only the beginning of our commitment. We take events from idea to fruition, including concept design, budget development, site research, sponsorship sales, operational and logistics planning, the creation and implementation of marketing, promotional and public relations plans, training of volunteers, celebrity wrangling, as well as event management. While no one can provide every creative and technical element in-house, we have developed a talented and dependable reserve of freelance experts, including web and graphic designers, caterers, decorators, transportation managers, production staff, security experts and operations specialists to serve a variety of needs.

We are the leader in our field,

affording us the privilege to partner with some of the most prestigious TV, film, sports and political personalities. Current celebrity hosts of ZCE produced events include: President Gerald R. Ford, Dennis Quaid (The Rookie, Frequency), Alan Rosenberg (The Guardian, Cybill, LA Law), Grammy winner Meat Loaf, R. Lee Ermey (Saving Silverman, Full Metal Jacket), Fleetwood Mac guitarist Billy Burnette, Emmy winner Marg Helgenberger (CSI, Erin Brockovich), Bill Murray (The Royal Tenebaums, Ghostbusters, Caddyshack) and his brothers, Joel (Dharma & Greg) and Brian-Doyle (Caddyshack), Ryan Stiles (Drew Carey Show) and TV hostess Nancy O'Dell (Access Hollywood).

We also have partnered with many major international corporations and charitable organizations. Through the years, international corporations as diverse as AT&T, Coke, Harrah's, Hillshire Farm, Konica, Old Navy, Adidas, Sheraton, Toshiba, American Airlines, Subway, Sutter Home Winery, Ericcson, Metabolife and CB Richard Ellis have sponsored ZCE's events. In just nine years, our events have generated tens of millions of media impressions, and have contributed nearly one million dollars to various causes. Current charity recipients include the International Hospital for Children, H.O.M.E., Gilda's Club, the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation, Vail Valley Foundation and Jennie Edmundson Cancer Center.

Our credibility is wholly dependent upon the trust we develop with these partners. In order to maintain that trust, we have created a set of strict, corporate guidelines that establish a policy of "Open Accounting" for all of our charity fundraising events. To insure that this occurs, ZCE has taken the following steps:

1. All bookkeeping is supervised and verified by the independent accounting firm of Gustin Accountancy Inc. of Valencia, California (Contact: William Gustin, CPA; Voice: 661-294-4455/Fax: 661-294-4452).
2. Any charity or celebrity host associated with ZCE has unlimited audit rights and receives quarterly reports that substantiate and verify that all monies are properly directed.
3. Each ZCE event has its own separate and independent operating account, into which all sponsorship monies are deposited.
4. Any and all ancillary proceeds generated during a ZCE charity event (from tickets, auction revenues, non-sponsor foursomes and other event participation fees, etc.) are controlled by the charity, not by ZCE.
5. ZCE establishes a production budget that is approved by all participants prior to the event. The charity is never responsible for overages.
6. ZCE establishes production fees and commissions for each event before the event occurs. There are never any surprises.
7. After expenses are paid, ZCE donates all monies remaining in the event's operating account directly to the charity, usually within 45 days.
8. ZCE welcomes, and indeed, encourages, examination of its accounting and bookkeeping practices and procedures by any governing body in any locale where it produces events.
